  1. Simplest usage is to type the NAME you want.  The following forms are 
  2. suggested:
  3.           Barker           P Barker          Paul Barker
  4.  
  5. However, often it is unnecesary to specify complete NAMEs.  Typing `Bark' 
  6. will first try and find entries exactly matching `Bark'.  If an 
  7. exact match cannot be found, the program will then match any entries 
  8. containing the "word" `Bark' - entries for Barker will now be found.  Finally
  9. some approximate matching is attempted - this often caters for mis-spellings.
  10. It is possible to exercise more control over the matching attempted by 
  11. using wildcard characters -  type "? WILDCARDS" for more details on the use 
  12. of wildcards.  Summary of special commands:
  13.  
  14. *         will list all people in the selected DEPARTMENT or ORGANISATION
  15. <CR>      will accept any default from a previous query.
  16. -         will clear any existing default.  Entering no NAME allows
  17.           querying for information about DEPARTMENTs and ORGANISATIONs.
  18.           Type "? ORGINFO" for more details on how to do this.
  19. q         to exit the Directory Service
  20. control-C to exit the Directory Service
